Once you have downloaded TravelVu, you do not need to start/stop it manually. Leave it on in the background and it will automatically use the GPS more when you move and less when you are still to save battery. If you wish to turn off logging for some time it is possible to do so, but then you have to remember to turn it back on yourself.
To turn off logging of movement data:
- In TRavelVu, tap on the cogwheel icon in the top right corner
- Select Settings.
- Turn off the Log movements switch.
For the normal case, Log movements should be on.
