The GPS reception in trains is quite poor as you sit inside a metal construction which blocks the GPS signal. To improve this situation, we combine the collected GPS data with train track data. This will in many cases find the right route, but in some cases there may be no useful GPS data and the router have to guess which track you took when there are multiple options available. It is also possible that the collected GPS data is wrong and wrongfully lead the router onto the wrong track so there is a balance on how much we can trust the low quality data collected while you ride in a train and make intelligent guesses from it.

Train trips logged since about 19 december 2019 and using TravelVu 2.2 and later it is possible to edit the path of train trips using the Move function in the app.
