In most cases it is better to use join than to delete trips/activities. The join function preserves the GPS track while the delete function will erase the GPS data for the deleted trip. The delete function should only be used to delete ghost trips with incorrect GPS tracks that return back to the same place.
To delete a trip/activity (and erase the GPS track):
1. Tap on the trip/activity you want to delete.
2. Tap on the remove button at the bottom of the screen
3. The time of the removed trip does not just disappear because we cannot delete time. So you have to select if this time belong to the previous or next trip/activity
4. Tap on save to confirm.
Now your trip have been deleted along with the gps-track.
